ALIGN THE COMMUNITY
There are some tasks that can only be accomplished at a round table. The Collaborative is an independent convener for multistakeholder initiatives and provides a trusted setting for discussions and finding collective solutions. Whether this be setting metrics of success or tackling a common challenge, we do it together.
Community Board
Since the Collaborative is community-owned, the community sets the course. Our community board is consenus-based and comprised of key leaders from different parts of the healthcare community. Each board member comes from an organization that has committed to our pledge, engages in projects, and helps achieve our goals.

HEALTHCARE SPENDING TARGET
The One Utah Health Collaborative announced a trailblazing task force in 2023 to set the state’s first healthcare spending growth target. The Task Force, co-chaired by Commissioner Jon Pike of the Department of Insurance, and Derek Miller, CEO of the Salt Lake Chamber, will determine a shared spending growth target, curbing soaring healthcare prices in the years ahead.

Digital Health Pilot
Description
The Collaborative launched its first alignment initiative to bring together stakeholders to address a challenge in health data interoperability. On April 10th, Governor Spencer Cox, former Governor Mike Leavitt, and Micky Tripathi, National Coordinator for IT Health, spoke at a meeting to kick off the Digital Health Workgroup.
The goal of the workgroup is to enhance health data exchange, leading to improved patient care. This involves facilitating data sharing among healthcare providers, enabling independent systems to access a complete and up-to-date longitudinal record of the patient's medical history. Additionally, the workgroup aims to empower Utah residents by providing them with a smart application of their preference, which allows them to share their health information conveniently.

The Digital Health workgroup meets regularly and reports back on progress. Please email info@uthealthcollaborative.org if your organization would like to participate.
