Digital Health Pilot

The Collaborative recently launched its first alignment initiative that brings together multiple stakeholders to address a common challenge in health data interoperability. On April 10th, Governor Spencer Cox, former Governor Mike Leavitt, and Micky Tripathi, National Coordinator for IT Health, spoke at a meeting that kicked off the Digital Health Workgroup. Their task is to improve health data exchange that will enable better patient care. This includes data sharing between providers caring for the same patient so they have more of a longitudinal history of a patient’s care and enabling Utah residents to share their health information using a smart application of their choice.
